Ana Teresa Igarza has served as Director General of the Zona Especial de Desarrollo Mariel (ZEDM) — Cuba's flagship special economic zone. The ZEDM offers foreign investors tax incentives, streamlined customs, and a dedicated port and logistics corridor. Igarza is the public face of Cuba's pitch to foreign capital.
