Luis Alberto Rodríguez López-Calleja ran GAESA, Cuba's military-owned business conglomerate, until his death in 2022. He was Raúl Castro's son-in-law and one of the most powerful economic figures in Cuba.

Biography
Brigadier General Luis Alberto Rodríguez López-Calleja headed GAESA (Grupo de Administración Empresarial S.A.), the military-owned conglomerate that controls much of Cuba's tourism, retail, real-estate, and financial infrastructure. He was the son-in-law of Raúl Castro. He died on 1 July 2022.
